Privacy policy

5 October 2026

Mapped is a desktop database explorer for Mac and Windows, built by vermino. This policy covers the Mapped app and the account service at mapped.uz.

Your databases stay on your machine

Connection details, passwords, SSH keys, queries, schemas, and the contents of your databases are stored only on your computer. Passwords go in the operating system keychain. Mapped does not upload them, and the account service is not built to receive them.

Account information

You can use Mapped without an account. If you sign in, you do it with GitHub or Google. We ask only for your profile and email. We store:

We do not offer a password on Mapped. We do not merge two accounts just because they share an email address.

Payments

Paid plans are billed by Stripe. Stripe processes the card. We store the Stripe customer id, the subscription id, the plan, the status, and when the current period ends. We do not store card numbers.

How we use this

We use account information to sign you in, issue a license for your plan, run teams, and handle billing. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to advertise.

Who else receives it

The desktop app connects directly to the databases and servers you configure. Those connections do not pass through Mapped.

How long we keep it

We keep account information while the account exists. If you delete the account, we cancel the subscription, revoke sessions, and clear your name, avatar, and email addresses. We keep the provider account id so that sign-in cannot open a second, empty account. Audit records of the deletion remain.
